About Holly Haverkorn
A COLORADO GIRL
Born and raised in Colorado, I have had a lifelong passion for theatre. While my family, with three generations of jewelers, crafted their art at the bench, I spent my time convincing my younger sister to act out scenes from my favorite movies with me. I later moved to Missouri to pursue a double major in theatre and psychology, marking the beginning of my path toward drama therapy, but I graduated early with a B.A. in theatre and joined a professional improv company in St. Louis.

EDUCATIONAL CAREER
After returning to Colorado, I took on the role of resident director at a local dinner theatre and initiated youth summer acting camps. My love for teaching inspired me to obtain an alternative teaching license, which led to 16 years of teaching high school theatre, including classes in acting, directing, tech theatre, and even a horror film study. While I continued my involvement with local theatre as a performer and director, I eventually stepped back from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom and taxi for my own teenagers. In 2022, I established Consent Center Stage, a nonprofit focused on consent education in touch-centered disciplines. provide workshops for both students and educators in theatre and dance, aimed at improving communication about safety and comfort in these unique settings.

AUDIOBOOK CAREER
I recorded my first audiobook in late 2024, and have since recorded over 20 books, working with indie authors and New York Times Best Sellers under my own name and my pseudonym, Autumn Alexander. I continue to dabble in VO work, doing the odd radio commercial, industrial videos, and even a project for Nintendo. I'm especially drawn to gritty romance and emotionally complex stories, as well as nonfiction and self-help titles that support growth and empowerment.

RECOGNITION
I was delighted to be a 2021 Colorado Teacher of the Year finalist and a proud 2021 Colorado Thespian Teacher of the Year.

FOR FUN
I keep super busy tackling household chaos with 2 super busy and talented kids, an awesome hubby, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a partridge in a pear tree (well, maybe not that last one). I'm a true-crime junkie who easily falls asleep to the dulcet tones of the Forensic Files narrator and a voracious reader, often reading 2-3 books at a time.
